The bomb threat scare onboard a Simrik Airlines aircraft in Luka Airport on Monday was a hoax, police confirmed.Nose wheel tyre of simrik air was punctured today and Tenzing Hillary airport was blocked for three hours. Simrik air Dornier aircraft was flying from Kathmandu to lukla with passengers. The incident happened while aircraft was about to turn from runway to apron. There is no any causality reported. The incident happened at the time of 10 am and the run way was reopened at the time of 1:00 PM after the aircraft was released by simrik airlines’ engineering team. This is the good season for domestic carrier and lukla is the one of the busiest destination. It is only the gateway for Mt. Everest and Khumbu area.
