Madan Kumar Bhandari was a Nepalese politician and communist leader. He was sensational youth Communist leader who rose to prominence after being party leader and defeating great rival leader Krishna Prasad Bhattarai in general election. As a communist leader, his fact based speech with use of proper vocabulary were awestrucking with combination of great courage and determination to speak such that no one shall match that audacity, not even the beloved Nepalese King. He was the mouth of suppressed Nepalese who were thrusted by Nepalese feudal system. Bhandari was born in Dhungesangu village of Taplejung district of eastern Nepal. He studied in Medibung School in Taplejung and in Varanasi, India. In 1972, he became the central committee member of the Janabadi Sanskritik Morcha (Democratic Cultural Front), a student movement launched by Pushpa Lal Shrestha. Around 1976, he left Pushpa Lal's Communist Party of Nepal to launch the Mukti Morcha Samuha ("Liberation Front Group"), which formed an alliance with the survivors of the Jhapa Movement in 1978. He was a founder member of the Communist Party of Nepal (Marxist-Leninist) preceding the 1980 referendum and was elected general secretary at its fourth national in 1986.<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="400" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/wJcyOqsi6uQ" width="600"></iframe>

काठमाडौं – बच्चा जन्मिकेपछि हृष्टपुष्ट हुने र सुन्दर बन्दै जानुपर्ने हो, तर सोलुखुम्बुमा यस्तो अनौठो प्रकृतिको बालक जन्मिएका छन्, जो दुई महिनाकै उमेरमा वृद्धजस्तै देखिन थालेका छन् । सोलुखुम्बु गुदेल–८ की समिता राईको पहिलो सन्तानमा यस्तो समस्या आएको हो । अहिले बालक जन्मेको दुई महिना पुगेको छ तर जन्मँदाभन्दा तीन सय ग्राम तौल घटेको छ । शरीर चाउरी परेर बुढ्यौली लागेजस्तै देखिएको छ । आमाको दूध कम आउने भएकाले जन्मेको १२/१३ दिनदेखि गाईको दूध खुवाउन सुरु गरेको आमा समिताले बताइन् । बालक बिस्तारै बिरामी पर्दै गए । त्यसपछि उनलाई पहिले धामीझाँक्री कहाँ र पछि स्वास्थ्य चौकी पुर्याइयो ।‘दूध खान छोडेपछि गाईको दूध खुवायौँ,’ गुदेल स्वास्थ्य चौकीमा उपचार गर्न पुगेकी समिताले भनिन्, ‘घरमै धामीझाँक्री गर्दागर्दै पछि बच्चा चाउरिएर बुढोजस्तो भयो, अब के गर्ने होला ?’<br />स्वास्थ्यचौकी इन्चार्ज रामु खत्रीले बच्चा बिरामी हुँदा समयमै उपचार गर्न नल्याई धामीझाँक्री गरेको र आमाको दूध नखुवाई गाईवस्तुको खुवाएकाले यस्तो समस्या आएको हुन सक्ने बताए । उनले अहिले बच्चाको तौल कम्तीमा पनि चार पाँच किलो हुनुपर्नेमा जन्मँदाभन्दा घट्नु जोखिमपूर्ण भएको बताए । यस्तो प्रकृतिको बिरामीको उपचार गर्नुपूर्व रोग पहिचान गर्नुपर्ने भएकाले विशेषज्ञकहाँ जाने सल्लाह दिएका छौँ, <div>

नेपाली काँग्रेसको सभापतिमा वरिष्ठ नेता शेरबहादुर देउवा निर्वाचित हुनुभएको छ । काँग्रेसको १३औँ महाधिवेशनमा नयाँ नेतृत्वका लागि आज साँझ सम्पन्न दोस्रो निर्वाचनमा उहाँले एक हजार ८२२ मत प्राप्त गरी नेपालको पुरानो पार्टीको सर्वोच्च पदमा पुग्न सफल हुनुभएको हो ।<br />सभापति पदका अर्का प्रत्यासी पार्टीका कावा सभापति रामचन्द्र पौडेलले एक हजार २९६ मत प्राप्त गर्नुभयो । कुल मतदाता तीन हजार १४० मध्ये खसेको थियो । खसेको मत मध्ये २२ मत बदर भएको निर्वाचन समितिले जानकारी दिएको छ ।<br />काँग्रेसको १०औँ महाधिवेशनमा सभापतिमा गिरिजाप्रसाद कोइराला र १२औँ महाधिवेशनमा सुशील कोइरालासित उहाँ पराजित हुनुभएको थियो । सभापति पदमा कुनै पनि उम्मेदवारले पार्टीको विधानतः बहुमत पु¥याउन नसक्दा काँग्रेस इतिहासमा पहिलो पटक सभापतिका लागि दोस्रो चरणको निर्वाचन भएको थियो ।<br />आइतबार राष्ट्रिय सभागृहमा नयाँ नेतृत्वका लागि भएको मतदानमा सभापतिमा तीनै उम्मेदवार कावा सभापति पौडेल, वरिष्ठ नेता देउवा र महामन्त्री कृष्णप्रसाद सिटौलाले ५० प्रतिशतभन्दा बढी मत प्राप्त गर्न नसकेपछि आजै दोसो चरणको निर्वाचन भएको थियो ।<br />सोमबार बिहान करिब ५ः३० बजे सम्पन्न मतगणनानुसार सभापतिका लागि प्रथम चरणका प्रत्यासी देउवाले एक हजार ५६४ र पौडेलले एक हजार १५२ मत प्राप्त गर्नुभएको थियो ।<br />प्राप्त मत परिणामानुसार प्रथम चरणमा नेता देउवाको अग्रता रहे पनि ११ मत नपुगेकाले उहाँ पार्टी सभापति बन्नबाट चुक्नुभएकोे थियो । सभापतिका अर्का प्रत्यासी सिटौलाले ३२४ मत प्राप्त गर्नुभएको थियो । निर्वाचनमा महामन्त्री सिटौलाले सबैभन्दा कम मत प्राप्त गरेकाले उहाँ दोस्रो चरणको निर्वाचन प्रक्रियाबाट बाहिरिनुभएको थियो ।<br />काँग्रेसको जिल्ला अधिवेशनमा गाउँका मतदाता कम आउने वा आफ्नो विपक्षका मतदाता आउन नदिने अनि थोरै मतान्तरले पनि जिल्ला सभापतिमा विजयी हासिल गर्ने विकृति बढ्दै गएपछि पार्टीमा यो व्यवस्था लागू गरिएको थियो ।<br />पोखरामा सम्पन्न १०औँ महाधिवेशनबाट यो व्यवस्था केन्द्रीय सभापतिका हकमा लागू गरियो । सोअनुसार प्रथम चरणमा केन्द्रीय सभापतिमा निर्वाचित हुन खसेको मतको ५० प्रतिशतभन्दा बढी मत अनिवार्य ल्याउनुपर्ने व्यवस्था कायम गरिएको थियो ।<br />काँग्रेसका यसअघिका महाधिवेशनमा सभापतिमा दुईभन्दा बढी उम्मेदवारले प्रतिस्पर्धा गरे पनि यस्तो अवस्था भने कहिल्यै आएको थिएन ।<br />विसं २०५७ मा पोखरामा सम्पन्न काँग्रेसको १०औँ महाधिवेशनमा नेताहरु गिरिजाप्रसाद कोइराला, देउवा र रामहरि जोशी सभापतिका उम्मेदवार हुनुहुन्थ्यो । त्यसमा कोइराला सभापतिमा ठूलो मत अन्तरले विजयी हुनुभएको थियो ।<br />त्यस्तै २०६१ सालमा काठमाडौँमा सम्पन्न ११औँ महाधिवेशनमा कोइराला र नरहरि आचार्य उम्मेदवार रहनुभएको थियो भने यसमा पनि कोइराला ठूलो मतअन्तरले विजयी हुनुभएको थियो । त्यसबेला काँग्रेस विभाजित हुनाका साथै नेता देउवा नेपाली काँग्रेस ९प्रजातान्त्रिक० का सभापति हुनुहुन्थ्यो ।<br />काठमाडौँमै २०६७ सालमा सम्पन्न पार्टीको १२औँ महाधिवेशनमा सभापतिमा नेताहरु सुशील कोइराला, देउवा र भीमबहादुर तामाङले प्रतिस्पर्धा गरेकामा कोइराला पहिलो चरणमा नै विजयी हुनुभएको थियो । रासस
